Biography

With 15 year experience in investment, financial law, tax and related subjects to set up a financial business in Vietnam, she was granted to be an Arbitrator of PIAC center since 2020. She participated in resolving more than 20 fintech-related cases and related disputes.

She carried out the legal process of establishing Digital Platform Bees Funding (www.beesfunding.vn) in cooperation with MSB Bank. She’s used to be the legal consultant to Development Director of FE Credit and a lawyer in compliance for SEA Singapore fund to their establishment and operation in Vietnam.

She regularly attended conference meetings on the legislation of the National Assembly and the Ministries to update and comment on the promulgation of legal regulations on fintech activities in Vietnam such as the 3rd National Assembly held at the end of October 2022.

With 15 years experience in investment and trade law, Ms. Thu is a senior lawyer of the law firm. Her practice is focused on in-bound foreign direct investment, M&A, fintech and retainer service. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Thu worked for years for an international real estate and hospitality company as Director of Legal. At Viclaw, Ms. Thu continues to advise foreign investors on establishing and maintaining their businesses legally in Vietnam. She is currently acting as Managing Partner of VICLAW LAW FIRM.
